REDUNDANCY SERVICE BEING PROVIDED TO NEW YORK CITY CUSTOMERS

HACKENSACK, NJ (April 4, 2005) – Last month, when Wave2Wave Communications launched service in Jersey City, it not only increased coverage in Northern New Jersey, but provided additional coverage for New York City customers as well. Jersey City is Wave2Wave’s third base station (or “POP”) located along the Hudson River, which has a direct line of sight to Manhattan. The other two base stations are in West New York, NJ and Fort Lee, NJ, providing wireless coverage in Manhattan as far north as Harlem, down to the southern tip of the island.

“While we are the primary Internet service provider to several New York businesses, we are finding that many companies are looking for a redundant connection. Wave2Wave Communications provides a reliable and secure wireless Internet connection. The Company installs a “base station” (an antenna on either a tower or rooftop) that can provide service up to a 10 to 15 mile radius from that site. The subscriber can receive service with either a “patch” antenna that is installed on the subscriber’s window or from an antenna installed on the rooftop of their premises.
